BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes: I’m interested in DeFi tokens

Arthur Hayes, head of the BitMEX cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, spoke about why decentralized tokens have become popular and are now attracting his attention.

So, he noted that while he is investing small amounts in tokens of DeFi projects, rather, to gain new knowledge, and believes that the loss of this finance can be offset by possible profit in the future. For example, the head of BitMEX is confident that the yearn.finance (YFI) asset will reach $ 100,000 (the token allows its holders to participate in the process of making decisions on the direction of its development).

It is worth noting that Arthur Hayes makes a positive forecast for the growth of the price of the first cryptocurrency, which, in his opinion, will be facilitated by the current situation in the global economy. “Unfortunately, the crisis will have long-term consequences for the lives of every person around the world. Because of the chaos, more and more people will distrust centralized power and look for ways to protect their capital from the senseless destruction inflicted on them by their rulers, “he noted in his article” Peasant’s Dreams “and stressed that in conditions of instability he would pay special attention to gold and bitcoin.
