Crypto exchange Gemini has been registered with the British regulator

The Winklevoss Brothers’ cryptocurrency platform is officially registered with the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The procedure turned out to be mandatory, since last month the financial department published a requirement according to which all companies working with digital assets must register with the FCA by January 10 of next year. The measure is aimed at compliance with the amendments made to national legislation and aimed at combating money laundering and the financing of criminal activities. So, now Gemini has integrated tools to track transactions and market manipulation.

We add that in addition to the Winklevoss company, the London trading platform Archax has also received a license.
