The KuCoin crypto exchange is working normally again after a hacker attack, which was recorded in September this year.
Recall that at the end of September, scammers gained access to one of the secret keys of the platform’s hot wallets, which allowed them to transfer more than $ 150 million of user funds to their accounts. It is worth noting that the specialists of the trading platform quickly detected suspicious activity and a high volume of transactions, after which KuCoin initiated an investigation into the incident. In this regard, at the moment, some digital assets have daily withdrawal limits (for the time of investigation, commissions for working with such tokens have been canceled).
It is worth noting that according to reports from KuCoin representatives, the persons who committed the hacker attack have been identified.
