The pages of the largest cryptocurrency platforms have been hacked on the Twitter social network. The victims of criminals, in particular, were such crypto exchanges as Binance, Coinbase, Gemini, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bitfinex, OKEx, CoinDesk portal.
So, on behalf of the representatives of these companies, clients were offered to take part in the distribution of cryptocurrencies, which will become possible within the framework of joint work with the CryptoForHealth project. However, in order to participate in such a “bonus program”, it was necessary to send to a special address from 0.1 BTC to 20 BTC, and only after that it would be possible to receive cashback up to 40 BTC.
“Tough day for Twitter” – commented on the incident, the head of the company Jack Dorsey, noting that currently the social network experts are conducting their own investigation and will soon share its results with the public.
