The authorities of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan announced the start of work on the creation of a regulatory framework that will regulate the cryptocurrency industry in the country. The National Bank’s website contains a message about the start of the development of a draft legal act, as well as the collection of proposals from interested parties on the issue of control over the cryptocurrency segment. The main goal of the new document will be to improve conditions for the development of innovative technologies in the field of finance, to minimize the corresponding risks.
It is noted that work in this direction will help expand the possibilities of introducing new technologies in various fields, protect the rights of market participants and investors, and also prevent fraudulent schemes and the risks of using digital assets in illegal activities.
