The Human Rights Foundation will support developers studying the anonymity functions of the first cryptocurrency. For these purposes, a specialized fund has been launched at the moment, which accepts the help of everyone through the BTCPay service.
According to human rights activists, “financial repressions” are now being observed everywhere in relation to ordinary residents. They can be manifested in blocking accounts, monitoring the movement of funds and barriers to generating income or donations in general. “Bitcoin can be an important tool as well as the Signal client application and the Tor and SecureDrop projects,” the official portal of the project says.
Note, the funding received is planned to be sent to individual developers or teams working on specific projects. A small amount will remain for the needs of the Human Rights Foundation.
Any developer can submit their project to the fund for consideration in order to qualify for a grant. The first of them in the amount of 50 thousand dollars has already been received.
