Xiangsui County People’s Procuratorate has indicted six suspects in the PlusToken pyramid scheme.

Recall that in June there were mass arrests, during which 109 people were detained, involved in a fraudulent scheme. They lured gullible investors into their project, promising them increased dividends, which in the end were never paid. So, persons who have crypto wallets were promised to transfer up to 30 percent of the funds on the account to the account. Thus, during the pyramid’s operation, its organizers managed to attract 40 billion yuan of user funds.

PlusToken’s audience reached 3 million by May last year, but soon many of the users found that they could not access their funds on the platform and turned to the police, who, in turn, initiated an investigation.
