The hackers who hacked the systems of the KuCoin cryptocurrency platform on September 26 have been identified. This was announced by the head of the site Johnny Liu in his social network.
So, he wrote a message in which he said that the company had conducted a thorough investigation, which resulted in the identification of suspects in the hacker attack. We also found evidence of the involvement of these individuals in the hacking of the platform and the theft of $ 204 million in user funds. Johnny Liu also noted that KuCoin is currently working with law enforcement agencies to finalize the situation.
We add that the timely reaction of the exchange helped secure up to $ 64 million, which had already been marked on the addresses of the attackers.
