Maniac Panda Games has launched the pre-alpha version of their new sci-fi arcade racing game, Racerloop, giving gamers a taste of what’s to come.

In an official press release today, the team behind Maniac Panda Games is pleased to announce that the company has achieved a new milestone following its preparation to launch the proposed sci-fi arcade racing game project.

The pre-alpha version, available for free on the game’s website, allows players to test five different power-ups, such as the Mini Black Hole and the Ghost power-up, introducing chaos and uncertainty to the gameplay. The game also allows players to customize their ships with upgrades and trade them with other players to gain a competitive edge.

Furthermore, the game plans to add an optional blockchain layer outside the game, enabling players to trade their items as NFTs and receive GQ tokens as a reward. The game is expected to feature worldwide competitions with significant prizes in the future.

Interestingly, Racerloop takes place in The Outer Ring universe, where players can experience the speed of 12 different ships through five unique circuits that feature a variety of scenarios, including futuristic spaceports, desertic tracks, and ancient settings.

Per the announcement, Racerloop is currently being developed by a team of experienced developers who have worked on successful titles such as Wipeout or for companies like Gameloft. Racerloop is expected to feature worldwide competitions with significant prizes in the future.
