Media: PayPal Drops Plans To Buy BitGoMayor of Miami calls bitcoin a stable investment in the outgoing year

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez considers the first cryptocurrency one of the most stable investments in the past year.

So, on his social network, the official said that he first heard about such a concept as “cryptocurrencies” from the founder of Morgan Creek Digital Anthony Pompliano and the head of the Gemini trading platform Tyler Winklevoss, who even promised to present to Suarez an autographed copy of his book “Bitcoin Billionaires”.

Recall that last week the head of Miami told his subscribers that he is currently studying the possibility of making the city the seat of the country’s first municipal government focused on a crypto center.
