Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings will launch the country’s first cryptocurrency fund, the crypto exchange SBI VC Trade will act as custodian. Such information is contained on the official website of the company. It is noted that most of the assets will be stored in the Ripple token (XRP) – 50%, and also include BTC and ETH.
“Cryptographic assets, known for correlation with traditional financial instruments, contribute to the growth of the effectiveness of a diversified investment portfolio,” the report said.
The start of the new fund is scheduled for this summer, according to SBI Holdings.
Add, the financial giant is not the first time prefers to work with XRP. In the spring of this year, the company’s management announced that it would pay remuneration to the holders of its shares in this particular coin.
