Shenzhen residents can now buy auto fuel with cryptocurrency

Now, using cryptocurrency, residents of Shenzhen will be able to buy fuel at 11 gas stations in the city. The pilot project is being carried out by the state agency Guangdong Petroleum.

In particular, in order to refuel their cars, residents just need to scan the QR code in the mobile application. It should be noted that the innovation has already been supported by consumers, who noted the instant transfer of funds and the absence of a commission. In return, Guangdong Petroleum said the digital RMB payment app will be rolling out to 110 autonomous petrol stations in Shenzhen this month.
