As expected, the Telegram messenger blockchain project – Telegram Open Network (TON) could not start on time. The start of work, scheduled for April 30, has failed, and now Pavel Durov needs to resolve with investors the issue of compensation for the funds invested in them.
So, the project partners received an information letter saying that it was impossible to comply with the launch start date. “Unfortunately, due to the decision of the New York District Court, we have no way to give you the Gram token until April 30,” the statement quoted by Vedomosti quoted sources familiar with the situation as saying.
At the moment, investors are invited to either wait for the launch of the platform (the terms are not called) or to receive 72% of the invested funds. It is known that, as an alternative, the team of Pavel Durov offers an income of 110% of the amount by April 30 of next year.
