Venezuelan doctors will get El Petro for free

Venezuelan medical workers will receive the national cryptocurrency El Petro, according to the decree of President Nicolas Maduro. The head of state made such a decision to thank the doctors who are struggling with the spreading coronavirus in the country.

So, each of the health workers will receive one token in their account on a debit card (approximately 60 US dollars), which will be transferred to the addressee using the Patria System platform created by the country’s authorities to issue bonuses or subsidies to the population.

It is worth noting that in a crisis situation that has been observed in the country for a long time, the minimum wage is only $ 6.5, the bonus in El Petro is a significant bonus for an ordinary doctor.
