Coinbase will continue to work remotely after removing restrictions on COVID-19

Employees of the largest US trading platform Coinbase will continue to work remotely even after lifting the restrictions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, said the head of the cryptocurrency exchange Brian Armstrong.

According to him, the new format of work gives the company a number of strategic advantages, in addition, the transition was less difficult than expected in the top management of the company. At the same time, after quitting quarantine, the employees of the crypto site will choose the desired method of work (in the office or at home).

“According to our estimates, from 20 to 60% of companies will work remotely,” Brian Armstrong said and explained that this would provide an opportunity to open new vacancies for candidates working in different parts of the world. In addition, over time, the crypto company will be able to have only one floor of office space in ten cities, and not ten floors of office space in one city, the head of Coinbase noted.

“I believe that the work that we carry out as part of this process will essentially create leadership for other companies that move to the first place, and that what we do at this moment can affect the progress of many startups,” he concluded he.
