Crypto exchange Kraken will add support for the Lightning Network protocol to its platform as early as 2021. The technology will “shape the future of programmable payments with digital money” and make millions of transfers per second with less time and money.
“Next year, we are going to assemble a team of specialists that will focus directly on the Lightning Network to create the best conditions for traders and investors,” reads a post on Kraken’s official blog.
The developers also note that simplifying the input and output functions is just the beginning of additional functions that specialists intend to provide Kraken together with the Lightning Network.
