Namaste Tribe! Here’s a monthly report of what happened at WazirX in June.

What happened last month

[Done] WazirX NFT Marketplace went live: Our NFT Marketplace went live on the first day of June with some amazing spotlight artists. Check it our here.

[Done] TKO listing & giveaway: We listed Tokocrypto (TKO) on WazirX, and gave away TKO via a host of activities like AMA, Highest Trader Kaun, Quiz Time with WazirX, and TKO Trivia contest on Instagram!

[Done] Project Raftaar-special trading competitions: In June, we organised three trading competitions for WRX/BTC, WRX/INR and SHIB/INR to test our Project Raftaar.

[Done] 12 new token listings: Last month, we added twelve tokens to our INR (fiat) and USDT market! You can now buy, sell, trade RLC, TRB, REEF, XVS, ICP, ONT, CKB, DCR, MDX, PHA, RUNE, and OGN in our INR and USDT market. Start trading your favourite pairs here!

[Done] New education partner: We are thrilled to introduce our seventh education partner – Skill91. It is an ed-tech focusing on developing the skillsets of people from the finance industry. We want to bridge the gap from being just certified to being employable through our practical approach and market-recognized courses. Read more

[Done] Partnership with Sony Liv: We partnered with Sony Liv to co-sponsor Euro 2020. We also debuted with a new ad campaign on SonyLiv as a part of the partnership. Watch it here.

What we’re building

[Ongoing] AMM Protocol: There have been unforeseen delays in some of the protocols that our DEX is dependent upon. This is preventing us from going live. At this moment, we don’t have an ETA on how long this will take. Be assured that we’re working very hard with the protocol team to expedite the process.

Something to add

In June, we tested Project Raftaar and it’s coming along great! We’re confident that it will help in sustaining the immense load WazirX sees during peak events. As a community, we’ve come a long way in spreading the right information about Crypto in India. Let’s continue our mission.
