Samsung has announced support for the Stellar blockchain for the Blockchain Keystore, which will now allow secure storage of private keys on select flagship smartphones with an embedded crypto wallet. Now it will be possible to sign transactions directly from the gadget.
According to Stellar CEO Denelle Dixon, the collaboration is an important step for the development of the ecosystem of applications running on the platform. Thanks to the collaboration, Samsung technology owners will have more options for key management. In addition, Stellar will bring new talent into the project (it is noted that companies such as DSTOQ, SatoshiPay, Litemint and Nodle have already agreed to integrate Keystore into their developments).
Let’s add that the number of smartphones with support for the Stellar blockchain includes the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S10.
