Large market players prefer to keep digital assets in their portfolios along with traditional means. This is confirmed by research data, according to which in the United States of America and Europe 36% (of 774 participants) stated that they have cryptocurrencies in their accounts. According to a survey by the holding company Fidelity Investments, most of them own bitcoins, and 11% own ETH coins. At the same time, the first cryptocurrency strengthened its position compared to other assets, quotes of which showed a downtrend during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, it is noted that the eurozone is currently a favorable location for digital instruments – 150 of 333 investors surveyed are involved in crypto operations here. According to market experts, this trend is also facilitated by the prevalence of negative interest rates in the local banking system. “Investors can be attracted to bitcoin because other tools are not profitable,” said Tom Jessop, president of Fidelity Digital Assets.
