The upcoming bitcoin mining will undoubtedly remain the main event of the cryptocurrency market, and ordinary traders and managers of large companies are trying to assess its impact on the price of the first cryptocurrency.

So, the head of the largest mining company Bitfury outside of China, Alexei Petrov, believes that the reduction in remuneration for the mined block causes strong emotions, as traders are waiting for a price jump, as it was in previous similar periods. He recalled that the technical consequences of this event, as a rule, do not occur immediately, but only after 6-9 months.

The head of Bitfury also noted that now developers are faced with the problem of further modernization of equipment for cryptocurrency mining. “It is no longer possible to improve miners, but you can produce them in large quantities,” the company noted, emphasizing that following the trend, ASICs will become available for home miners.

It is worth noting that some market experts are sure that miners after halving will pay attention to altcoins, for example, mining Bitcoin Cash, since it becomes expensive to mine bitcoin in terms of resource use.
