Ethereum Berlin hard fork launch delayed

The Ethereum 1.0 update called Berlin carries over. Initially, a hard fork was planned for the current month, but, according to the developers, at the moment it still requires modernization.

One of the experts, Hudson Jameson, previously said that “everything is going according to plan” and soon all work will be completed. A few weeks ago, he stated that the final specifications and solutions for the three EIPs would soon be available. “We are creating a testnet called Yolo,” Jameson said.

It is worth noting that initially on the schedule of work the date was May 26, but the deadlines were postponed, since numerous proposals for changing Ethereum were not included in the system. At the same time, hard fork is an important part for starting the zero phase of Ethereum 2.0, the exact launch dates of which were never announced by the developers.
